We loved our stay at Dar Gabriel in Chefchaouen. The room was clean and well-lit, and the breakfast served both mornings was delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was just a short walk from where we parked our car. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful terraces on the top floor, offering stunning views of the surroundings. The bathroom was spacious with hot water available at all times, and there were thoughtful additions like hooks for clothes and reading lights.

Hidden Gem in the Medina
We recently stayed at a beautiful riad in a charming small town. The room we had was cozy and had a traditional Moroccan feel. The rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of the surrounding village and mountains. The staff was helpful and gave us great recommendations for exploring the area. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh fruits and local specialties. Although there were minor issues with the plumbing, they were manageable. we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this riad for an authentic experience.

I chose Dar Gabriel solely because I wanted to visit Chefchaouen, and its location near the popular points of interest was ideal. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant at the hotel. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The 24-hour front desk and free in-room WiFi were also impressive features that added to the overall convenience of my stay.
Uninterested staff, disruptive family members.
